It's okay to take a moment.

This election season brought a lot of strong emotions and intensity, and it’s natural to feel a bit worn out. As things settle, remember to give yourself some space to recharge and refocus.

You’ve made it through a challenging time—take a moment to find calm within.

Consider these small steps to reset:

  • Pause and Reflect: This was a long election season. Step away from the noise for a bit, try:
    • Taking a social media detox
    • Turning off the news (or TV altogether)
    • Journaling your thoughts
    • Chatting with a Friend
  • Reconnect with Simple (non-political) Joys:
    • Playing with your kids
    • Dancing to your favorite song
    • Picking up on an old hobby
    • Watching trashy reality TV or football
  • Focus on a New Project or Interest: Now that the election is over, we have an opportunity to shift focus to things like:
    • Preparing for the holidays
    • Starting a new side project or business
    • Taking a course

We’re here to support you in finding balance and helping diffuse all those election season feelings.
